Parody Covers

We're a bit dismayed over here at Automatic. Even though we're seeing our circulation blow up, the money ain't quite rolling in as of yet. And we need to get paid. Shit, my monthly drug habit alone is bigger than the combined income of the entire Automatic staff. Maybe we just aren't cool enough. Sure, we try to be "different" than the typical skate mag, but who's to say that we aren't completely fooling ourselves, and "different" is just another word for "lame."

So we've decided to steal some ideas from the other guys.  Skating has a proud tradition of intellectual property theft, so it's not like it's that big of a deal.  Maybe this will be a turning point for us? The next time you hear from us it'll be from our gold yacht floating in the middle of our champagne swimming pool, and we'll be spraying mouthfuls of caviar at you from the gaps between our new platinum and diamond toofses. So if you happen to find this on the newsstand, just fold it so your favorite cover is displayed as our front cover. Maybe our sales will go through the roof?
