Issue 64
We are very sorry that it has taken us so long to get this issue out, but the last disk in my spine decided it wanted shoot it’s contents on to a nearby nerve, rendering me a complete pile of worthless shit. When I can’t function, it turns out that not much gets done around here. I am the only one holding the cast of characters that make this magazine possible, together. If I’m not up everyone’s ass 24/7 pestering and obsessing over things, shit just doesn’t get done. I’ve been in no condition to nanny anyone right now so, as a result, deadlines have once again gone to shit. It’s been quite a while since we’ve claimed; “Worst Issue Ever” but this could be it, hope you enjoy.

No hassles no fuss. Bravo Ron Whaley, bravo!

Josh Mohs

Sometimes life can seem like one long dice roll. No matter how hard you plan for the future, how much you strive for security and a happy place in the world, we’re all really just one or two bad throws away from destitution, loneliness and despair. Daily we’re presented with decisions we must make, weighing happiness versus security, freedom versus companionship, with no real clue of what the true consequences of our decisions will be more than a few weeks or months down the road.

Volcom Damn Am

The 2008 Volcom Damn AM is the first Damn AM that I’ve missed since the Skate Park of Tampa brought the event to the Volcom Warehouse. For the past 3 weeks I’ve been in a vicodien and codeine induced haze due to a blown out disk in my lower back.
