Missfire Monday by Jason Lee Parry

Jason Lee Parry first started shooting photos at the ripe age of 15. His family moved quite a lot, and as he was bounced from town to town, school-to-school, Jason Lee Parry used his camera as a tool to explore the world as an observer. The lens often offers an element of protection. Though I’ve not had the honor of meeting Jason, I can imagine that Jason has developed his masterful storytelling as a result of his environment.  Luck for us, Jason found his calling.

Jason forgoes the use of digital choosing to shoot with only film and natural light and according to his bio, “he approaches each shoot like he was making a movie, pushing the model into character.”

See more of his work here.
